Responsible for the overall receiving, warehousing, tracking, storage, organization and distribution of all production material, including both secured, non-secured material, raw material and finished goods used in the production process. Maintain an organized system for storing and tracking all material located in all active warehouses. Maintain a process to control the flow of material from raw material (receipt into stock) to WIP (issuing to production), to finished goods (shipping) utilizing the current MRP (Syteline system). Ensure all material is properly identified with a G+D part number, cataloged into a database(Syteline-MRP), segregated from non-inventory material(WIP, etc), and stored in a properly identified inventory location. Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts totals to inventory records, manually or using computer. Verifies physical count of stock and adjusts errors in count, or investigates and reports discrepancies. Compiles information on receipt or disbursement of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies and computes inventory balance, price, and cost as required within the MRP ( Syteline) system. Prepares reports, such as inventory balance and shortages lists. Assists with stocking and shipping/receiving functions, as required



  • Maintain a system for receiving, organizing, segregating, identifying and storing all inventory materials located in all active warehouses.
  • Maintain accuracy of material management system (Syteline) for tracking on hand quantities of all materials within warehouse of responsibility.
  • Organize and conduct Physical and Cycle counts to meet company guidelines.
  • Maintain system (Syteline) to track material consumption by job order and various other requested transactions.
  • Responsible for maintaining all warehouse locations in a neat and organized fashion.
  • Support the material ordering process as needed. Inform appropriate personnel (Production Control/ Logistics Manager) in the event of inventory depletion in the warehouse.
  • Perform other duties as needed to maintain the accuracy and organization of the inventory material.
  • Create and maintain inventory related reports for management as needed.
  • Ensure secured material regulations are being properly followed and maintained. Work with Security Manager as needed.
  • Count, audit, and record incoming material into material management system (Syteline).
  • Label with correct bin number and location number.
  • Issue production material to shop floor based on order demands (Syteline pick list/Management request).
  • Maintain close working relationship with Production Management to ensure all materials requirements are met as per job order pick list. Ensure appropriate material is available to fulfill order. Report all material shortages to Production Control/ Logistics Management.
  • Move merchandise by hand, hand truck, or forklift equipment to maintain continuous flow of merchandise.
  • May be responsible for the unloading and stocking of incoming merchandise, picking of outgoing merchandise and loading of outbound trailers.
  • Checks, verifies and audits merchandise and enters data into MRP(Syteline) to ensure that ordered merchandise has been received and that merchandise is as ordered and not damaged or defective.
  • Identifies, separates, labels, and palletizes merchandise to enable merchandise to be relocated to appropriate area in the Production facility.Reports damages and/or vendor compliance issues.
  • Resolve problems or discrepancies with help from immediate manager.
  • Ensure safety techniques are used in all aspects of daily work responsibilities.
  • Participate in physical inventories both yearly and cycle count.
  • Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.



  • High School Diploma.
  • Inventory Management, warehousing experience preferred.
  • Familiar with ERP Systems.
  • Knowledge of Inventory Management procedures.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; must be able to read, comprehend, and write correspondence and reports in English; must be able to communicate with multiple levels of staff throughout the organization.
  • Effective organizational skills, Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Effective analytical ability with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency with computer technology applications that support the materials planning and procurement process (i.e. ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Physical ability to move inventory material as needed.  Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Able to stand on concrete for long periods of time.
  • Able to operate pallet jack and forklift.
  • Other duties as assigned.
