Account Manager FinTech

Job overview / summary

Responsible for developing and maintaining value-added services for card production and card issuance. Focused on creation, maintenance and training of sales process for fintech solutions & services.

 

Objectives

  • Direct responsibility of fintech processors. Includes selling, integration, proposal of solutions, future requirements gathering, management of their product and business development teams to promote G+D within the account
  • Responsible to develop solution sales and card issuance services differentiation within the fintech market segment
  • Participate in creation and evaluation of business cases and feed requirements into product management. Perform constant feedback loops with product to ensure timely delivery of product capabilities ahead of market demand.
  • Overseeing the creation of sales collateral for all value-added solutions & services into the fintech market segment
  • Provide Input into marketing and communication activities for tradeshow/conference attendance and G+D presence within those forums
  • Create and maintain sales process checklists, presentations, proposals, menu of services, etc. which are used to walk fintech’s through the onboarding process. End-to-end sales process creation and management
  • Develop standard proposal formats, standard pricing with strong profitability and continually work to streamline the sales process for fintech
  • Develop and train sales team on the client-specific marketing messages related to fintech services and solutions

 

Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes the vision and strategy for STS (ie: Secured Transactions and Services ) growth and innovation.
  • Drives strong development and relationship management of clients and partners at the executive level in alignment with G+D’s market and product solutions and services
  • Personally supports key account management
  • Communicates and collaborates business activity with the Payment 4.0 Manager while aligning closely with the geography business owner
  • Participates on Global Team for strategic and operational planning
  • Leads new business development relative to the fintech arena for North America
  • Creates competitive analysis and plans to leverage against the competition
  • Reviews and negotiates business contracts with clients: pricing, terms and conditions, etc.
  • Drive a complete sales plan in the fintech market utilizing all G+D resources appropriately in order to have successful sales campaigns with efficient cost of sales
  • Progressive strategy, go to market, and tactical execution approaches specific to the fintech ecosystem
  • Working within a multinational organization
  • Effective and transparent communications to present and promote fintech solutions and services internally and externally

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering required, MBA or MS preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in solution sales, ideally fintech.
  • Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem and Businesses around financial Mobile Security is a plus
  • A proven track record of building relationships, closing complex deals and creating an efficient sales channel
  • Relevant experience in consultative selling, product marketing and branding, and support services industries is important for this role
  • A solid working background that is effective at driving business and value
  • Direct experience in a dynamic and changing culture and landscape including growing a business with several different markets and strategies
  • Proficiency in English
  • Travel 50-60%
