Regional Category Manager Americas - Films / Foils

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective sourcing of materials and services within the assigned category in alignment with category management objectives.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable commercial terms.
• Partner with global sites to understand procurement needs and ensure alignment with the global strategy.
• Lead the creation, negotiation, and management of supplier contracts and contract management.
• Monitor and assess supplier performance against KPIs and quality standards.
• Maintain supplier documentation (NDAs, Framework Agreements, Code of Conduct, etc.).
• Creating and monitor purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues.
• Ensure made-to-order items are produced and delivered as per specifications and timelines.
• Follow up on non-conformities in collaboration with the Quality department.
• Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Work closely with OPS,  Product Management, R&D, and Quality to align procurement strategies with product and quality goals.

• Solution-oriented approach in challenging situations.
• Advanced SAP MM expertise.
• Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for data analysis.
• Artificial Intelligence and automation basics in procurement.
• Project management methods and tools (e.g., Agile, MS Project).
• PowerPoint for professional presentations.
• General IT skills (MS Office, Power BI)
