Account Manager/Sales Manager

Scope :

 

  • To grow the company’s Telecom Division segment i.e. TCD Division  (SIM smart cards, Applets, Telecom solutions, other company’s products in automotive, IoT,M2M,Private Networks etc. ) in India, Nepal, Srilanka & Bangladesh, ensure meeting of defined business targets and establish sustained profitability of the business.

 

 

 

Duties & Responsibilities :

 

  • Sales & Business development

  • Expand sales revenue through strong retention/growth of existing customer base.

  • Expand and grow sales revenue through creating new customer base.

  • Define and implement sales strategies that build on sustainable growth for the company’s products and solutions.

  • Manage strategic opportunities in key accounts including Telecom solutions, Tech.companies, Automotive segment, Private Networks etc.

  • Communicate opportunities/issues to Management & Segment Heads regularly

  • Develop relationship with various MNOs, Enterprises, Automotive players , understand how the GSM technologies are influenced by the regulator and governing bodies

  • Develop relationship with regulatory bodies, influencing the telecom market in all the above regions

  • Identify gaps between company sales, service, customer requirements and recommend alternative/solutions

  • Communicate, promote, support the company vision both internally and externally

  • Develop/prepare client presentations, Requests for Proposal (RFP) and Requests for Information (RFI)

  • Provide pricing /quotations as required

  • Develops/negotiates customer contract and Service Level Agreements (SLA), forecasting, etc. Re-negotiate extensions and renewals as required.

  • Work with other areas of the company to ensure smooth implementation of new product/customer launches as well as major changes.

  • Quality/Cost Effectiveness - Maintains knowledge of all technology, products and services the company offers. Maintain a high level of knowledge in all areas of company operations. Keep abreast of new technology & convergence trends, business models, equipment, processes or any changes that may impact client group

  • Competition - Maintains awareness of competition products and services.

  • Trends - Maintains awareness of technology, industry trends, new developments

 

Education :

 

  • At least a Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related discipline

  • Working experience on Sales Force for forecasting, estimating, etc.

Experience :

 

  • At least 15 years in a sales environment; preferably in Telecom industry with IoT, M2M, Smart Cities) with solution-selling skills & competencies.

  • Experience in working with IoT solutions, M2M segment and automotive understanding like tracking solutions, AIS 140, Connectivity understanding.

  • Communication skills

  • Strong communicator with persuasive skills.

  • Ability to bring together views of individuals/groups with conflicting goals to achieve closure on complex issues

  • Ability to produce presentation of potentially complex/technical information and views

  • Involved in documenting technical results/procedures.

  • Impact and Influence - Able to interact with senior management from outside the organization for the purpose of sharing/explaining strategy, developing company-to-company relationships, negotiating contracts/acquisitions and/or shaping overall public image.

  • Leadership - Responsible for own workflow, working within the objectives, priorities and service standards of the team/work unit.

  • Work within defined procedures and policies eg ($ limit, time, risk exposure).

 

Domain Experience:

 

  • Working on Telecom OTA solutions, SIM/eSIM solutions, VAS, Connectivity solutions, Machine to Machine(M2M products), Internet of Things(IoT) products and hands on experience in defining the solutions for various enterprises, Private Networks detailed knowledge etc. as relevant.

  • Existing relations setup with Industry stakeholders and understanding of solution selling cycle on above defined domains.
