G+D ePayments is looking for a Global Head of Supply Chain Management (m/f/d) for its Supply Chain Management department at its Munich Headquarters.

 

She/he will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our supply chain operation on a global scale, including Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP). You will lead a team of supply chain professionals and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to optimize processes, manage inventory and drive efficiency throughout the supply chain. The role requires strong background in supply chain management in a similar position, excellent leadership skills to manage an international team and proficiency in SAP.   

The person in this role develops and implements strategic initiatives to optimize the global supply chain, aligned with company goals and objectives. She/he fosters a culture of continues improvement and accountability. She/he collaborates with cross-functional teams including procurement, manufacturing, sales and finance.  

 

Your requirements

 

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain visibility, agility and resilience, leveraging data analysis and performance matrix. Lead the implementation and optimization of SAP ERP system, working closely with IT and external consultants.
  • Plan, implement and optimize the overall group wide supply chain strategy
  • Assists logistics process for the launch of new products, inventory maintenance, manufacturing, shipment and delivery, and returns on products
  • Keeps detailed records, generates reports, and develops presentations to help management understand the logistics perspective
  • Lead the Global team of Supply Chain professionals disciplinary in Germany and functionally internationally
  • Build relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers or distributors.
  • Read and comprehend legal documents, such as contracts or import/export agreements
  • Understanding of principles of accounting and finance.
  • Collaborate with others from diverse backgrounds in order to identify problems and find solutions
  • Determine key supply chain KPIs (on-time delivery, inventory level, internal and external customer satisfaction
  • Suggest solutions for process improvements
  • Identify process bottlenecks and implement solutions in a timely manner
  • Work with finance, sales, procurement and manufacturing team to determine best vendors and distributors
  • Propose and implement solutions with interfaces to company ERP-system to improve demand forecast accuracy
  • Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecast, budget, business strategies and load balance of capacity
  • Manage overall demand and supply planning cycle, securing optimized material load in international production sites
  • Leverage best in class methods in order to effectively plan, manage and control the S&OP to align with Commercial, Finance and Production Plans
  • Determine Supply Chain KPIs, review-interpret and take decisive actions impacting the Supply Chain.

Your qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Master's preferred.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in supply chain management, with minimum 5 years in leadership role.
  • Proven track record of implementation of supply chain strategies in an international groupwide environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across levels of the organization.
  • Excellent knowledge of the supply chain, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and production planning
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive informed decision-making
  • Solid knowledge and experience in SAP
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools
  • A solid business acumen that quickly establishes trust at internal customers
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to communicate and cultivate relationships with all levels of an Organization. German and English is a must, further languages welcome.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-placed, dynamic environment
  • Certification in supply chain management (e.g. APICS, CSCP) is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
