Giesecke+Devrient is looking for a MVNO License Manager (m/f/d) for its Business Unit Mobile Security Germany within the Governance, Risk & Compliance department at its Munich Headquarters:

 

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) License Manager to oversee and actively manage existing and required MVNO Licenses, globally. The MVNO License Manager will ensure compliance with local or national regulatory requirements as required by the business in order to operate as MVNO in the respective region. 

 

Your tasks:

  • Analyse existing and future regualatory requirements with regards to MVNO licenses, globally

  • Actively drive potential registration processes with responisble authorities in the respective countries in order to get required approvals and licenses
  • Monitor and manage existing MVNO licenses and ensure extension, renewell etc., if required
  • Build and maintain positive and productive relationship with respective Business Line, serving as the key point of contact for all MVNO License related matters.
  • Closely collaborate with business, legal and management in order to understand business needs and required licenses
  • Manage external partners, e.g. legal consultants
  • Conduct periodic reviews and regular reports on existing MVNO licenses and identify any discrepancies or potential risks
  • Provide support and guidance to internal teams regarding MVNO license-related queries, troubleshooting, and training as needed

Your qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master´s degree in either Business Administration, Legal, or a related field.

  • Proven experience (5 years+) in telecommunication license management or a similar role, preferably in a larger organization.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with regulatory requirements in the telecommunication industry.
  • Sound technical understanding and knowledge around Mobile (Virtual) Network Operations.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong abilty to manage yourself and work indepedently.
  • Strong negotiation and effective communication skills towards responsible authorities.
  • Proficient in using MS Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requiriements and industry trends.
  • Business fluent in English and preferebly another language
