Principal Engineer
Qualification – B.E, BTECH, BSC, BCA, BCS or equivalent Post Graduation in any branch preferably in E&TC, Computers
Experience –14+ years of total experience , hands on with Java / JEE technologies, 4+ years in software architecture role
Technology / Skills – Java, JEE, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Database, API / APK development
Tools - Eclipse, Maven, GIT, JIRA, Confluence, Bit bucket,
Soft Skills – Self-motivated, Focused, Good Team Player, Positive Attitude, Good communication skills – written / verbal, proactive
Nice to have – GSMA's M2M specifications (SGP.02), SIM Server Side Technologies, Mobile Payments, HSM and Key Management / PKI / X509, PKCS11, Elliptic curve cryptography, Secure programming. understanding of SW security, encryption algorithms, authentication, Proven knowledge to work in processes according to CMMI (Level 3)
Responsibilities
- Perform requirements Analysis, ensures Architecture, design and implementation of Enterprise applications for Telecommunications
- Understand / translate & elicit customer requirements , provide technical solution / proposals (including estimates, plan)
- Approves design and implementation and acts as a mentor for team i.e. Software Engineers / developers.
- Assess existing solutions , systems architecture and recommend solutions for improvement
- Assess business impact while proposing technical solutions , making cost effective technical proposals
- Keep up to date with industry standard architectures and technologies
- Design and implement features and automated tests, Support Software Engineers in the implementation
- Ensure product adheres to overall system architecture, performance and other characteristics of the product/component, and that the product behavior is in line with the total system
- Support PM with analysis of customer requirements and identifying impact of the implementation alternatives
- Participate in in Sprint planning & time estimations, contribute to continuous improvements in Sprint Retrospectives etc.
- Provide 3rd line maintenance and deployment support on the product and assistance to customer projects during installation
- Identify areas for continual improvement to improve product efficiency, customer satisfaction, and value.
