Senior Project Manager

The Senior Technical Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering complex, cross-functional technical programs and projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, mastery of project management frameworks, excellent stakeholder communication, and the ability to drive end‑to‑end delivery in dynamic, multi‑geography environments
Qualification:
- B.E, B.Tech, MCA, MCS, M.Tech or equivalent Post Graduation preferably in E&TC, Electronics, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, SAFe, or comparable certifications preferred
Expérience:
- 12–18+ years of experience in technical project/program management.
- Experience leading enterprise-scale, multi‑team, multi‑platform technology initiatives.
Leadership and Strategy:
Agile Transformation Leadership: Drive the organization’s Agile transformation journey by defining the Agile vision, establishing governance models, and enabling a shift from traditional delivery models to Agile.
- Program Strategy & Roadmaps: Define and execute program strategies aligned with organizational and customer objectives.
- Team Leadership: Mentor cross-functional Agile teams and coach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Engineering Leads.
- Change Management: Lead culture change required for Agile adoption across teams and leadership.
Innovation And Best Practices:
- Agile Methodology Expertise: Serve as SME for Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and Lean frameworks.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive process maturity using Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and lean delivery models.
Technology Evaluation: Assess new tools, technologies, and frameworks to improve productivity, quality, and velocity.
- Tooling Adoption: Recommend and implement tools to support project delivery, reporting, and engineering workflows.
Collaboration And Communication:
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work with product management, engineering, operations, cybersecurity, and other stakeholders to ensure aligned program execution.
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide transparent, timely updates to sponsors, leadership, and internal/external customers.
- Training & Development: Guide teams on project management best practices, delivery methodologies, and collaboration techniques.
Program Management:
- End-to-End Program Ownership: Lead complex projects through full lifecycle—initiation to closure—ensuring schedule, scope, cost, and quality targets are met.
- Project Planning: Build and maintain detailed project plans including timelines, budgets, dependencies, and resource allocations.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify, track, and mitigate project risks; establish contingency plans.
- Governance: Drive program governance, steering committee reviews, compliance reporting, and audit support.
- Vendor & Partner Management: Manage third‑party partners, ensuring alignment with technical, delivery, and quality requirements.
Technical Leadership
- Solution Delivery: Collaborate with architects and engineering leads to define technical approaches and ensure solutions align with enterprise standards.
- Technical Understanding: Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), cloud platforms, microservices, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and modern engineering practices.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure delivery excellence through robust testing, validation, and acceptance methodologies.
Skills:
Program Management
- Proven track record of delivering complex enterprise programs on time, within budget, and with high quality.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles—scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, and communication.
- Experience developing project charters, roadmaps, RACI matrices, risk registers, and stakeholder plans.
- Skilled in managing distributed teams and multi‑geography stakeholders.
Technical
- Strong understanding of software engineering concepts, cloud technologies, APIs, data workflows, and system integrations.
- Expertise in Agile, Scrum, SAFe, DevOps, CI/CD delivery models.
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Azure DevOps, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Ability to interpret KPIs and metrics related to delivery, quality, and performance
