Qualification

  • B.E, BTECH, BSC, BCA, BCS or equivalent Post Graduation in any branch preferably in E&TC, Electronics, Computers
  • MBA , Executive programs in Leadership & Management or equivalent would be an added advantage
  • Agile , Scrum Master certification would be an added advantage

 

Experience

  • 14+  years of experience, at least 4+ years’ of focused experience in people & delivery management handling customers in telecom Industry and delivering IT/ software products
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, set targets & monitor progress

 

Technology , Technical skills

  • SDLC, Product Life Cycle Management
  • Java, JEE web architecture, Spring boot, Hibernate, Oracle , NoSQL database, Rest services
  • Web technologies background using Java/JEE, SIM, EMV Smart Cards / Java Card would be an advantage
  • Project Management, Experience in managing projects & teams using Agile / Scrum methodologies
  • Proven knowledge to work in processes according to CMMI (Level 3), exposure to Telecommunications server solutions & domain would be preferred

 

Tools Used – Git, JIRA, Confluence, Maven, Agile Dashboard, Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint

Soft Skills – Self-motivated , Team Player, Positive Attitude, Good communication skills – written and verbal, proactive

Responsibilities

  • Managing employee lifecycle (Recruitment , onboarding, appraisals, career development, Exit) & disciplinary management of teams
  • Managing a team of resources engaged with local & global customers across product management, engineering, architects, technical writers and operations
  • Managing all vendor relationships with outsourcing companies, partnerships and alliances
  • Providing technical leadership to the team
  • Driving product management, development, testing and documentation
  • Budget forecasting (S/W, H/W) ,  monitoring and controlling of same
  • Responsible to ensure complete compliance as per company standards & guidelines
  • Initiate change and drive continuous improvement and competence growth
  • Ability to reason around complex and difficult topics
  • Drive development projects e.g. clarify scope, organize scrum teams, resolve capacity & timeline conflicts
  • Continuous dialogue with staff in the context of coaching, team communication and scrum events
  • Handle support requests and escalations
  • Managing all aspects of technology, including strategy, ongoing business needs assessment, software development and implementation

  • Sound experience in managing Telecom product solutions development teams would be an added advantage
  • 4+ years of leading Engineering teams/Delivery Management experience.
  • Excellent communicator at all levels
  • Ensure that processes & standards are understood & followed by team.
  • Has an eye on business aspects - profitability, higher revenue generation and resource utilization
  • Participate in various reviews (Test Plan / Specification / Test Case Code / Requirement Traceability)
  • SmartCard & Telecom server solutions domain expertise a big plus
  • Identify areas for continual improvement to improve product efficiency, customer satisfaction, and value.
  • Possess technical insight about modern software development, and about delivery and maintenance
