At G+D Mobile Security, the world leader in secure telecommunications systems via SIM / eSIM, we are looking for a Profile Engineer in Barcelona.

The Profile Engineer is a technical job to set up data generation and personalization of physical and virtual profiles. Profile Engineers are part of the Service Delivery & Operations function, under the supervision of the Regional Head of Service Delivery & Operations.

Profile Engineers’ main responsibilities are to develop and test a configuration of a new product based on specifications provided by the customer product manager.

Important skills for Profile Engineers include experience in database systems and usage of system software.

Objectives:

• Prepare and provide configuration for new products

• Test configurations previously developed.

• Transfer the released configuration to a real production environment in the optimized and compliance conditions

• Take accountability and responsibility towards assigned process roles, support level 1 data generation engineers on error troubleshooting.

• Project engagement

Responsabilities:

• Coordinate tasks with DataGen Engineer in order to set up the product in a real production environment

• Support DataGen Engineer in case of an incident

• Stay updated with new product specifications and updates in the product/service specifications

• Keep in contact with R&D for new software releases

• Ensure specifications are received from Customer Project Managers

• Evaluate, improve and add applicable work instructions

General knowledge and skills:

• Basic knowledge of PC-network (LAN)

• Basic knowledge of database systems like MS SQL Server

• Basic understanding of software development processes

• Ability to work under pressure

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving mentality

• Solution-oriented mindset

• Being an excellent team player

• Ability to follow given processes, procedures, and work instructions

• Fluent in written and medium spoken Spanish and English
