For our Service & Maintenance department, we are looking for a

 

Service Engineer Verification (m/f/d)

 

at the Munich or Berlin location.

 

Your main tasks:

  • Second level support for Verification solutions:
  • Remote and on-site corrective maintenance (Incident Management HW and SW)
  • Close cooperation with HelpDesk, IT HW and SW Support, 3rd level support, Veridos internal business lines and manufacturers
  • On-site preventive maintenance (HW and SW)
  • Creating and updating maintenance procedures
     

Your profile:

  • Software Application support experience
  • Electromechanical experience is a must (eGates will be an advantage)
  • DB basic Knowledge (PostgreSQL and Oracle preferred)
  • IT Infrastructure general knowledge (OS, Linux, Network, PKI)
  • Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
  • Ability to work independently on complex technical tasks and under pressure
  • You are fluent in English and bring good communication skills 
  • Strong customer oriented
  • Any certificate or training  for Oracle / Microsoft / Networks will be an advantage
  • ITIL Foundations will be an advantage
  • Willing to travel (20-30%)
