We are currently looking for a working student (m/f/d) for our department Innovations at our Munich site. 


As a tester (m/f/d) you will support our team in ensuring the quality and reliability of our biometric solution. You will be involved in various testing activities, including manual testing, test case creation, bug reporting, and test documentation. This role is ideal for a student (m/f/d) currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field which is eager to apply their theoretical knowledge in a practical setting.

 

Your tasks:

  • Execute manual tests on software and hardware applications to identify bugs and ensure the quality of the product
  • Create and maintain detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases
  • Identify, document, and track software and hardware defects and inconsistencies
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and test features effectively
  • Perform regression testing to verify that new changes have not adversely affected existing functionality
  • Assist in maintaining and updating test documentation and reports
  • Provide feedback on the usability, functionality, and overall user experience of the software

 

Your profile:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
  • Basic understanding of testing methodologies
  • Familiarity with various testing types (e.g., functional, regression, usability)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • ISTQB certification is a plus
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
