Job Summary

Veridos America, a global leader in integrated identity solutions, is seeking a Technical Program Manager to oversee business processes, gather requirements, and manage projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical business analysis and project management, with experience in the public sector and identity-related projects.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyze requirements to document business needs and requirements for software solutions.
  • Optimize business processes by developing a deep understanding of current program business rules and process workflows to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop documentation, including creating business cases for change requests, functional and technical specification documentation, and process workflow models.
  • Lead requirements workshops to facilitate discussions and validate solution requirements to ensure alignment with Veridos and client business objectives is a key responsibility.
  • Translate business needs into solutions by converting requirements into actionable technical specifications and project plans.
  • Support testing and deployments, assisting with UAT, developing test plans, documenting system configurations, and troubleshooting issues during deployments.
  • Deliver training by developing and presenting new solution training materials for internal teams and clients.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization within client-related workflows.
  • Utilize data analytics to recommend system improvements and track KPIs for data-driven decision-making.

 

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Define and scope projects by establishing project objectives, milestones, and success criteria.
  • Lead project kickoffs by organizing formal kick-off meetings to define scope, schedule, and risks.
  • Maintain project plans and risk register to track project progress, risks, and schedule changes.
  • Manage cross-functional teams by coordinating efforts to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery.
  • Monitor and adapt project execution, resolving issues, and communicating updates.
  • Ensure compliance with requirements by maintaining traceability from RFPs and contracts to project deliverables.
  • Oversee small accounts under senior leadership supervision.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and partners to ensure project deliverables meet contract requirements.
  • Act as a Scrum Master or Agile coach when necessary to drive iterative development cycles.
  • Monitor project budgets and financials to ensure cost-effective execution.
  • Direct the transition of projects from deployment to operational support for a seamless transfer.
  • Build strong relationships by engaging with internal and external stakeholders, including key clients.
  • Act as a liaison to ensure clear communication between business and technical teams.
  • Manage expectations by maintaining transparency in deliverables and project scope.
  • Provide status updates by participating in leadership meetings to report progress and risks.
  • Drive collaboration and leadership to engage and motivate stakeholders for project success.
  • Develop executive-level reports and presentations for senior leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Spearhead organizational change efforts to ensure seamless adoption of new solutions through change management.

 

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • Applicants must possess either United States citizenship, permanent resident status, or valid work permit.
  • Ability to pass reference, credit, criminal background and drug screenings.
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis and project management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Agile, PMI-PMP, and/or Scaled Agile (SAFe) methodologies is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage client expectations is vital.
  • Proficiency in project and business analysis tools, including JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, SharePoint, Visio, Excel (Pivot Tables, Data Analysis), Power BI, Slack, MS Teams, Outlook.
  • Self-starter who takes ownership of projects and drives them to resolution with minimal supervision.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage, collaborate, and motivate stakeholders to drive project success.

 

Preferred Experience & Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of biometrics or identity verification workflows.
  • Familiarity with software deployment processes and IT infrastructure.
  • Experience in AI-based tools for process improvement.
  • Experience in government technology solutions, secure credential manufacturing or familiarity with government sector projects.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification.

Working Conditions

  • Primarily a home office-based role, requiring extended periods of sitting and online collaboration with multiple time zones.
  • Some evening or weekend work may be required to meet deadlines
  • Occasional on-call after-hours support required for software deployments, security patching, or emergency support as needed for troubleshooting / resolving issues.
  • Occasional travel to regional or international offices and production sites.
  • Travel to client sites for solution requirements elucidation, quarterly business reviews, software and delivery project status meetings.

The pay range for this position is $100,000 – $115,000 per year.  Benefits offered to eligible employees include, medical (PPO and HDHP with HSA), dental, vision, paid time off, paid holidays, 401K w/ employer match, short/long term disability, life insurance, healthcare and dependent care flexible spending, EAP, commuter benefits, education assistance, pet insurance, legal, and more.
